obese womanI hope I didn’t make you throw up your lunch.

If you’re a woman, you definitely do not want to look like her. If you’re a man, you’d probably not shag her unless you’re into that sort of thing.

How can you NOT look like this fat chick?

Okay, I’m exaggerating. For the most of us, I don’t think it’s humanly possible to turn into her even if we eat 50 Big Macs a day.

So the real question should be:

How can I not be fat?

You can approach this question in several angles.

You can diet and exercise to maintain or lose weight. Or you can shoot heroin and pop meth to lose weight. Whatever it is, the first step is to recognize if you’re fat.

If you know you’re fat, you can take steps to lose weight and prevent yourself from getting fatter.

But isn’t fat a vague term? How fat is fat? Is 90kg fat? Surely a 1.65m person weighing 90kg is fat but a 1.9m person is not. Is there a fast way to know if you’re fat? Is there a method to quantify fatness?

Actually, there are several ways to measure fatness. One simple and quick way to check if you’re fat is to calculate your Body Mass Index. The BMI tells you if your weight is in the healthy range or in the half-naked chick range.

I know most of you are not mathematically-inclined. So here’s a calculator to calculate your BMI.

Height:
Weight:
Measurement System:
Inches and Pounds
Meters and Kilograms

If you score 40 and above, you’re on your way looking like the half-naked chick. You should diet and exercise immediately.
