Bruce Lee Muscular BodyDo you remember Bruce Lee?

The actor once famous for his martial arts skills and his death-monkey squeals.

The actor who’s once rumored to have died because he had squeaky sex with his mistress. (Actually, he died of brain edema.)

Bruce Lee remains one of the most popular actor in Asia. Perhaps more popular than Tom Hanks. Besides one-inch-punching his way to superstardom, Bruce Lee also founded his own martial arts system called Jeet Kune Do.

Jeet Kune Do like any other physical activity is a great way to keep fit. Combined with a sensible diet, JKD will probably sculpt your body into Bruce Lee’s.

However, if Bruce lives today, he’ll be surprised that martial arts is not a popular way to control weight. He’ll also curse his luck for failing to break into the weight loss industry where lots of money can be made.

A recent study finds that Martial Arts is the least popular way to lose weight. It’s one of the five weight-loss methods adopted by only 3.3% of the US population. The other 96.7% are more likely to adopt low-carb diet, high- protein diet, and non-prescription weight loss products for weight control

Here’s the list of the most unpopular to the least unpopular methods to lose weight:

  1. Eastern Martial Arts
  2. Massage
  3. Acupuncture
  4. Meditation
  5. Yoga

I can see why Martial Arts is unpopular. Its tough and acrobatic training does not appeal to commoners . It’s for the serious and elite weight-loss nuts, not for pussies who will follow any new quick-weight-loss system in the market.

If I’m Bruce Lee, I won’t allow these brainless pussies to taint my pure Martial Arts system. I’d recommend them Yoga.
